Most don’t. Folsom is in St. Tammany Parish, which doesn’t require a Building Permit for a standard residential fence at 7 feet or under — anything taller does. For horse and farm properties, we also make sure pasture fencing is sturdy enough for livestock while staying within any height and clear-vision rules near the road. We’ll confirm what applies to your property before we start.
